Dimitri
Dimitri Govertsen-Donaldson is a professional dancer and actor. He is a founding company member and choreographer with the Ballet Beyond Borders Company. He apprenticed with Visceral Dance Chicago as an understudy for Carmen.maquia— a Picasso-inspired, contemporary take on Bizet's beloved classic by Gustavo Sansano Ramirez at the Chicago Contemporary Art Museum. He travels internationally as a company member and ambassador for Ballet Beyond Borders (China, Italy, Dubai, Cuba). He got his start as a principal and soloist with Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre, under the direction of Charlene Campbell Carey.
Dimitri is attending the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance.
